Secretary of State Van Ark (Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment) has informed the Tweede Kamer (House of Representatives) in a letter regarding the quality of the Dutch daycare about the preliminary report of the Project MIND research – Multilingualism in Daycare.
The report describes which methods the participating bilingual daycare organizations use and what the characteristics of the children are. The report also presents the first preliminary results of the language tasks the children performed. The report is available on the website www.veranderingenindekinderopvang.nl (Dutch).
The Project MIND study consists of four measurement periods between 2018-2022. After the first 3 periods a report with preliminary results is presented. After the all the four measurements periods the MIND research team will present the final results. Read more about the research of Project MIND.
